Become a deputy for The Cake Detective
We are expecting to donate birthday cakes to over one hundred children in the Waikato in our first year with that number continuing to grow. The support we have received so far has been amazing but the costs are ongoing which means so is the need for support.
Becoming a deputy within The Cake Detective organisation means that you can contribute a little (or a lot) on an ongoing basis be it weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc. You get to set the amount and the frequency. By becoming a deputy this ensures that we can continue to donate these amazing birthday cakes which are not only good for the taste buds but creates lasting memories for those children and their families.
It is as simple as setting up an automatic payment through your internet banking at the value and frequency that works for you. As we are a registered charity (registration number CC57514) all donations over the value of $5 are tax deductible.

Once set up if you fill in the form below with your email address you will receive quarterly newsletter updates directly to your inbox with everything going on within the organisation and what your donations have made happen.
To put in perspective for the cost of a cup of coffee you could be giving the following number of cakes a year.
$5 per week = 4 cakes per year
$5 per fortnight = 2 cakes per year
$5 per month = 1 cake a year

Amy at Oxford Pies is like a knight in shinning armor. Oxford pies have made some incredible donations in the way of ingredients. They have also generously allowed The Cake Detective to hold our big cake bakes on their premises.
Canary foods
The wonderful team at Canary Foods has generously supplied us with butter. They use Grass-fed, New Zealand Creamery butter which is - in their opinion - the best butter in the world and ensures the highest quality of our products from the very beginning.
They supply our products to airline caterers, hotels, bakeries, food manufacturers, restaurants and supermarkets.
